Centaurea Cyanus Cornflower is a classic blue beauty for the cutting garden. Cornflowers grow easily from seed. The hardiest of cold hardy seeds, centaurea benefits from a slight chill. Classic Cornflower plants grow up to 24 inches. With cold stratification, this can easily get up to 3ft. Cornflower seeds get planted 1/4" deep. You can expect those baby blue blooms to start to show within 60-70 days. Centaurea Cyanus is the gift that keeps giving. Blooms will produce from June to September as long as you keep hacking at it! Gently, of course, with great attention to cut above a lateral ;) 200 seeds per packet.
